🏘️ How to Add and Manage Property Information
The Property Info tab is the starting point for setting up a property in the Perfect Tenant & Property Management System. Here you can view, add, and edit all the key details about a property. It’s essential to ensure this information is correct before moving on to leases, payments, or maintenance.
This guide walks you through the process of entering property information and managing updates effectively.

📋 What You Can Do in the Property Info Tab
Use this tab to:
- Add a new property with all its details.
- Edit existing property information such as address or landlord contact.
- Check occupancy status at a glance (e.g., Occupied, Reserved, Under Maintenance).
- View landlord details and ensure they are up-to-date.
📝 Adding a New Property
- Click the Add Property button from the dashboard.
- Fill in these fields:
- Property Name and Address – Enter the full name and location.
- Property Type – Select Residential, Commercial, or Mixed Use.
- Status – Set as Active if it’s ready for leasing.
- Landlord Details – Add the owner’s name, email, and phone number.
- Click Save to create the property record.
✏️ Editing Property Details
If you have permission, you can update any field at any time. Remember to click Save Changes after editing.
💡 Tips
- Keep property names descriptive for easy search later.
- Update the status promptly (e.g., switch from Vacant to Occupied) to maintain accuracy across the system.
- Ensure landlord contact details are complete to enable automated emails and notifications.
